Bah! I want the forum using GMT, but the server is about 5 hours behind and is automatically using the MySQL NOW function on a timestamp field, setting it five hours earlier than it needs to be.

A third timestamp field
It looks like it's going to be easier just to add another timestamp field and let the first one soak up the automagic changes made by MySQL.
