Sony haven't given the PSP an offical UK release date yet - but it's likely to be mid- to late-April in my opinion.

The PSP's been released in Japan already, and the Americans are due to get it this month (24th, i think). We the British, have been given 24th April as the latest date (amazon.co.uk). Lets all pray for it to be earlier

Yep Amazon.co.uk are taking pre-orders at £179.99 and say 24th April but have a disclaimer saying:
"Please note: the release date and final UK launch details for the PSP console have not yet been confirmed. This information may therefore be subject to change."

The Sony PSP will be realesed on the 1st September 2005, but it is possible to get an imported version in some shops (i.e.Thatz Entertainment,Awesome Games,Electronics,etc) for £240, with a game of your choice. Also it will be imported from Japan so the Instruction Booklet and Socket are Japanese.
