one question always bugs me whenever i play a japanese orientated game, what makes the japanese think that characters with motorbike ears and alien eyes will impress their players. what does anyone see in them to make the games sell so well. the games are mostly graphically but then an elf like idiot comes along and you cant help feeling stupid playing the game, though they are good.

Some people like abstract art for games. I mean, some games I play have the weirdest characters, which is funny. I mean think about it, A spikey haired boy with a giant key fighting black blobs with some kind of retarded dog and a pantsless talking duck. And I like kingdom Hearts, so what?
Whatever game you are playing, there is bound to be a weird or funny character or two, or three, or..... you get the picture.
