This thread is for listing things you know of that work better than the things designed by Apple. My idea is that Apple is fast gaining monopoly on the audio world currently, and that we, as consumers, shouldn’t be helping them. There are lots of things that work better and are cheaper. Here’s the format:
Apple Product: Ipod Shuffle
Alternative Product: Wireless Mp3 Player Headset from OTTO: http://www.hearotto.com/Products_OT3.aspx
Why I think it’s better: Price is the same. Headset and player are integrated, no wires, yet still manages to have over ½ the space and battery life of the Shuffle. Shorter battery charge time. Sound quality, bass response, and sensitivity is vastly superior to a Shuffle with Apple headphones.
