Pathway to Glory is realistic down to detail, recreating convincingly the harsh reality of the battle zones. To ensure accuracy, historians and location shoots have been used extensively in the development of the game. The main user interface gives an excellent view for the battlefield and the game play mechanics are finely tuned for best possible experience. The player is able to use wide variety of equipment; even artillery and vehicles found from the battlefield are accessible. Every object in the battlefield is destroyable and once destroyed objects remain demolished, giving the player a possibility to manipulate the environment to affect gameplay.
