EA announce Burnout Revenge

Electronic Arts announced today that Burnout Revenge, the fourth instalment in the driving game series from developer Criterion Games, is scheduled for release in September this year.

Its predecessor, Burnout 3: Takedown, won three BAFTA Awards earlier this year, including Best Racing Game, as well as being crowned Best PS2 game at the Joystick Awards 2004.

More information about the game is likely to be unveiled when EA debut Burnout Revenge at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) in Los Angeles, California, on May 18th, 19th and 20th. Until then, feast your eyes on these two screenshots:
