Gizmondo adds e-mail to feature list

Gizmondo Europe have confirmed that in addition to the already impressive array of features, their upcoming Gizmondo handheld games console will also support the sending and receiving of e-mails anywhere in the world over tri-band GPRS.

In addition to it's primary function of being a portable games console with a great portfolio of titles, the Gizmondo can also take digital photos, play music and movies, and has a built in global positioning system (GPS).

Although the Gizmondo was officially released in the UK back in October 2004, it's very difficult to find anyone who actually has been able to buy one. If you're hoping to get your hands on one of these nifty little devices, you may have to wait until the new year, when hopefully some more of them will have found their way onto shop shelves.
