Futuristic racing in a twisted cyber world with System Rush on the N-Gage platformHelsinki, Feb. 1, 2005 – Nokia today announced System Rush, a fast paced, futuristic, stunt racing game for the N-Gage platform. This platform exclusive title, developed by Ideaworks3D, takes gamers into the dangerous and hostile world of GlobeNet. Packed with rich multiplayer features, System Rush enables up to four players to race via Bluetooth connection or the N-Gage Arena.
“Nan System Rush extends our racing portfolio into an exciting dimension.” said Pasi Pölönen, Director, Games Publishing, Nokia. “With forty-five enemy levels to master, fifteen gang boss vehicles to trounce and five kingpin track bosses to beat. System Rush is sure to excite and entertain gamers. In addition, the extensive N-Gage Arena features let the gamers truly connect and challenge each other.”
Gamers jump into one of over eleven vehicles and tear through forty-five intense races in five unique game worlds in GlobeNet. The N-Gage Arena shadow racing mode lets gamers take on up to three other players simultaneously. Gamers can race online to unlock limited edition cars and race them in offline mode. N-Gage Arena offers global online league tables and the possibility to download or upload race clips. Online player profile and voting systems enable players to celebrate and reward outstanding performances.
GlobeNet racing world is home to corrupt corporations and secretive governmental organizations. The racing locations can be accessed via hacked backdoor gateways allowing gamers to access hazardous race arenas constructed within sealed-off areas that have become infested with opportunistic viruses and other electronic threats.
System Rush is expected to hit the streets in the summer of 2005.
