Increase Difficulty
At the Sega/AM2 logo, press the following sequence of buttons: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B, C. A chiming sound will confirm you have successfully activated the cheat.

Clean Pause Screen
Press Z + Y + X while the game is paused for a clean pause screen.
